In New York City, it seems like everyone walks around with out a struggle or problem in the world, but I know that it is only a front. We all have things running in our minds whether it is trouble in love, work, or with family. One thing I have learned living in NYC is that you have be in control, especially of your own emotions. And in my circle of friends, we know how to disguise our emotions very well. A very close friend Lorraine was having some trouble in paradise, especially in her love life. See she has been dating or well I guess seeing this boy, whose name is Adrian. He has her riding along this everlasting roller coaster of mixed emotions. Lorraine wants a relationship, but Adrian doesn’t. So what do you do when the boy you like only wants to fool around and does not want any sort of commitment. I know a lot of you can relate out there especially the ladies. Lorraine is a strong, and successful woman with her degree in Marketing and works in a very prestigious PR firm as an event planner. Adrian on the hand does not know what he wants in life, has no job, and is not sure if settling down is the right move for him. A little word of advice ladies don’t settle please. I know there are a lot of you like my Lorraine who are hard workers and want the best in life. Do not settle for scum bag who does not treat you well. I know you all can do and find better, just like I told my friend. Even though you may still hold hope for this person you are interested in, holding on to something that was never there in the first place is redundant. and honestly you should hold yourself to a way higher standard. So don’t give up, focus on yourself and your career, I am sure that in the end you’ll find the perfect person who fits in just for you.

I feel like I am finally in a happy place in my life. So much has happened and changed within a year. I moved to NYC and my life has literally been like a roller coaster full of ups and downs and unexpected twists and turns….It’s definitely been a tough year being on my own in this big city, starting fresh with a new set of friends and with no family, but I have no regrets because it has made a stronger person and I have made genuinely good friends who have my best interests at heart. I moved out of LA, well the South Bay to be exact because it was full of drama. I felt like I was stuck in a bubble and everyone was criticizing my every move. When I had the chance to move to NYC I took it, I now attend Pace University and pursuing my career in Arts & Entertainment Management. I am now a social person and I attend several event in the city to network and and make the right connections because in this city it is all about who you know, that is truly the only way you’ll make it to top and I’m on the right path of becoming successful and a very important. Of course it has not been easy, but it has been a journey to be where I am today, I know there will be obstacles along the way throughout my journey of success. I will get thrown with real life decisions, and I am not going to lie, I am scared but I know in the I know what is best for me. Stay tuned…My name is Freddy Alexander and this is my new and improved blog where I’ll  be writing about my real life experiences in New York City….Real love stories, real drama, real struggle, and real triumphs…this is my story and I am ready to share with the world.
